The OEM-versus-aftermarket question matters more for Boxabl than for most prefab brands we work with, including Abodu and Cover. Boxabl’s flange geometry is proprietary, so generic vapor-barrier tape or standard electrical glands won’t seat correctly. We source OEM replacement flanges and glands directly from Boxabl’s parts channel, but we also stock a machined aluminum aftermarket shim kit that outperforms the OEM polymer version in North Hollywood’s clay-heavy soil conditions.
